Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the whole world is suffering health, economic, and social damages. A developing country, Myanmar, is still suffering the economic, social, and health problems which are the result of COVID-19 pandemic. A large percentage of the population in Myanmar earns their live-li-hood by working daily-paid jobs. They are basic people and are depending on their daily-income. It can be said that this is the hardest time for them. During this time of crisis, the lives of the basic people become harder than usual as lack of sales, unable to open shops, not allow to come the sellers of the other township, some are facing lack of jobs for stop running their workplaces and industry, unemployed full-time/temporary workers like carpenters, and blue-collar workers due to the closure of construction site, unemployed coolies, drivers, and trishaw men. Words can’t even express the lives of unemployed and income-free basis people who are trying to prevent their lives from COVID-19 pandemic. There are a lot of people who are dealing with their living for this kind of crisis. There are also people who are solving their problems by selling their items and things while others are borrowing money with interest and to buy rice and other basic food. There are households who cannot afford to buy rice as they have no income and have nothing to repay their loans. When there is no solution for their problems or no help from anywhere for them, they have to drink rice soup or the dry rice soaked in water to survive. There are many unfortunate situations which are hard to mention. We, our group, is trying to donate as much basic food and money as we can to support families who are really in need.
Our purpose of running this campaign for the number of families with unemployed without income and food situations is higher than before due to the current economic situation in Myanmar. We need to raise funds to help those with their living for a period of time. That’s why we are looking forward to hearing from you.
We, our group, will truly donate basic foods to 100 basic household families from Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Yangon who are really in need with the collected funds from this campaign.
The campaign, which aims to donate basic food supply to 100 households, also welcoming to those who want to be part of the donation. Hoping you to donate in this campaign. You can donate as much households as you can. The donations from the donators can provide relief for families in need for a couple of days and alleviate their worries. We will truly donate the collected funds to the families in need.
“We are hoping that the assistance of the donators will satisfy their needs and hunger”

The name of our group is “CHO Charity.” Starting in 2018, CHO Charity was formed by forming a group like-minded friends, saving as much money as we can each month and donated where needed. Our goal is simple. As the saying goes, "Rejoice and be Glad”, we have been able to help people who are in need as much as we can. We are a group of like-minded friends who enjoy the feeling of joy when they can help someone in need. There are 5 core members in our group. With the help and support of like-minded family members and friends who are associated with the core members, we have been able to effectively donate to places with the need of help. We used to donate the places with the need to help when we collected at least 15 lakhs. So far, the places where we have already donated to Yangon Region, Hlaing Thar Yar Township, Shwe Pyi Thar Township, Dar Paing Township, Kaw Hmu Township, Pa Thaing Gyi Township in Mandalay Region, and Swar Township in Bago, are elders from abandoned nursing home, food for orphans, food for those who are facing financial problems, monastic schools from and to renovate the monasteries from countryside. Currently, we are helping as much as we can.
