JAFUN = JAPANESE (Japanese)× FUN (fun)

JAFUN is a Japanese language online learning platform that allows you to study "anytime" and "anywhere" and "fun" Japanese classes to Myanmar people using Facebook.

We aim to be an online Japanese language school that offers high quality and affordable lessons to all people both in urban and rural areas in Myanmar.

■Why did we make JAFUN?

First of all, my name is Mizukawa Chiyo, a student of the Burmese language department at Osaka University.

I have been attending YUFL (Yangon University of Foreign Studies) since 2018.

 ・ When I got a cold, my friends gave me lots of medicine.

・ When I was about to miss the bus to Bagan, a stranger contacted the bus company, so I could follow a taxi to catch the bus.

People around me always helped me in Myanmar.

So I want persons in front of me to be happy as a return. I have a sense of mission.

Some of the people I met in Myanmar

•Children working hard at the destination using Japanese

•Local children who study Japanese and have a dream in Japan

• A friend who has spent a lot of time and money coming from the provinces to Yangon to take a Japanese class

I have met many people who have given up on studying Japanese due to space and cost issues.

Therefore

 ”we want to provide "Learning" Japanese language learning to people in Myanmar, both in urban and rural areas. So, I decided to create an online Japanese school using Facebook for high quality and cheap classes to deliver throughout Myanmar.

■What JAFUN aims for

For learning Japanese,

"Familiarity" = Daily conversation, basic things

"Qualifications (required for those who want to study in Japan or work for a Japanese company)" = JLPT Japanese Language Proficiency Test

"Social" business = Business manners, business conversation

I think there are stages

At present, JAFUN creates a monthly subscription group of 5,000 MMK,

We provide content that gives you the first level of familiarity with Japanese, such as phrases used frequently in everyday life, phrase learning using animation, and learning hiragana, katakana, and kanji.

As the next stage,

we want to offer online courses that have been committed to passing the JLPT.

Teaching with video

•Provide easy-to-understand classes using videos, images, PDFs, etc.

•Even if you do not have a textbook, the notebook becomes a textbook as it is

•Accept questions in comments and messages

•Perform regular interviews and manage the progress of class content

•Regularly check your Japanese level

•Improve motivation using live video

First of all, we want to raise funds to create a JLPT N5 level course.

Instructor fee / Performance fee 300,000MMK x 2 people → 600,000MMK

Video shooting and editing 350,000MMK

Miscellaneous printing costs 50,000MMK

Total 1,000,000MMK
