IFP (Initiative for Peace) is a student peace education programme founded by UWC(United World College in 2001to promote community peacebuilding in the action of youth peace conferences run by youth for youth. IFP Myanmar is held and organized by diverse young leaders from Myanmar who are alumni of the IFP international conferences and strongly willing to contribute community peacebuilding and youth empowerment in Myanmar.
Myanmar has been facing a couple of issues and inter- conflicts concerning identity, religion and discriminations lacking proper peace-education and understanding about conflict. Initiative for Peace aims to connect youth from different backgrounds and cultures to build sustainable peace and builds students competence as peacebuilders, with a large emphasis on taking action with the vision of youth connecting youth to build sustainable peace through empowerment. IFP Myanmar will let the delegates come together and contribute as a big team to the national welfare and peaceful environment through interactive activities, simulation and presentation sessions as well as team bonding sessions. Become adequately supplied with leadership and management capacities to launch their very own community development and peace initiative projects that will sustain and succeed. Give them access to an environment where they will feel welcomed, inspired, empowered, motivated and undifferentiated.

The budget includes funds for 50 people during the camp and for any necessary preparation before camp. According to our calculation, the estimated budget goal of Su See Yar crowd funding campaign of our project is $7000. The costs include the following expenses:

( To note ) As everyone is aware of, the COVID 19 has been a disturbance to all students exchange programs and likewise. And it has also affected so far in our planning process which forces us to postpone till things are back to normal concluding we will not be able to hold this conference why December and we will notify how things will be arranged to our kind donors by convenient communication ways.
